Ottawa University is the largest, non-profit, private university offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Valley.

We have a campus in Phoenix and two additional learning locations in Surprise, and Queen Creek. For added flexibility, we offer a broad range of fully online programs and courses.

Credit Transfer Guidelines

Up to 80 Maricopa credit hours transfer to Ottawa University.

 

All 100 level and above courses taken toward a Maricopa degree, for which students earn a grade of "C" or better, are considered for transfer toward your bachelor's degree. Some limitations apply to activity and skill building courses.

 

All other credits in all Maricopa associate degree programs and certificate programs are considered for transfer as electives to Ottawa University.

 

Students who complete an associate degree from Maricopa will typically have fulfilled Ottawa University breadth area (general education) course requirements.

 

Credit from other institutions, CLEP/AP/DSST exams, health care registries, and military credit may also be considered for transfer.
